Add External Contact while sending Emails

We have a requirement wherein we want an easy way to send emails from Enate.
Right now before sending emails we type the full email address if it is not in Enate as External Contact, once the email is sent can we add the newly typed email address to Enate as External contact in the backend. This way we ensure new emails that come from the same contact in the future is auto-tagged as a contact to ticket.
This will help in not developing a complete AD integration just to get companies email addresses.
