Hi,
Thanks for the detailed feedback on this. Really appreciated. We will not be building this feature at this time.
We have decided to tackle other features as a priority because the majority of our customers have heavily requested them. Please see the in-progress requests to see what's coming in the next release. These features will also be beneficial to you.
We’re happy to revisit this request with you after our resources have become available again.
Thanks,
Kamal

Manual reset of passwords for Bot Accounts

Our RPA team have requested if Enate can configure the manual reset of passwords for the bot accounts from 28 days to 90 days as it would be less disruptive when running automations out of hours. Thanks

Tracy Nolan Bot can use the Enate webapi before password expiry to change it. API end point is – User Management/ChangeUserPassword. We can provide further guidance and support on this.

Hi Tracy Nolan - Thanks for the feedback. if you are using UiPath orchestrator managed bots with enate then Enate will change the password every 30 days and sync with UiPath credential manager and your bot routine should able to fetch from there. In this scenario no manual effort is required.
if you are connecting other both technologies OR UiPath without orchestrator then Enate will the password policy configured by the client on Enate manager. This password policy remain same for human user as well robot user.
if you want to change it to 90 days, please ask your Enate admin team.
Thanks,
Kamal
