Clients who have configured custom sensitivity labels, automatically applied to all emails. These labels enforce encryption policies that ensure emails can only be read by intended recipients (mailboxes are recipients in this scenario).
As a result:
Incoming emails received in client Shared Services mailboxes are encrypted by default.
When Enate retrieves these emails from the mailbox, the email body and attachments remain encrypted and are not human-readable.
In its current state, Enate cannot programmatically decrypt these emails.
To address this, platforms programmatically reading encrypted emails should integrate with Microsoft AIP / Azure Rights Management to remain compliant and read & decrypt email to show on Enate in a human-readable format.
Because Enate does not currently integrate with Microsoft AIP, email content and attachments cannot be rendered in a human-readable format and users are unable to process incoming work effectively within Enate.
