Description:

Bidirectional email connectors currently have a single Enable toggle that turns both incoming and outgoing on or off together. We'd like these split into two independent controls.

This would solve two problems:

Staged go-lives: We want to enable outgoing ahead of go-live to configure and validate email sending in our processes, but not enable incoming until we're ready to receive. This is especially important since the April 2026 release, which requires an email address to belong to an enabled connector before it can be used in a process — meaning all process setup currently has to happen on go-live day itself.

Failure isolation: If one direction fails, we currently have to disable the entire connector to stop errors, which also halts the working direction. Independent controls would let us disable only the broken direction.
