Check on total email size

Currently it is possible to set a limit on the size of an individual attachment. However our Exchange Server sets a limit on the total size of an email sent, and with multiple attachments this can be reached. This generates a low-level exception that is not visible to the end user and requires IT assistance to resolve. It would be helpful to be able to configure an overall limit on email size and then prevent (or at least warn) when this limit is breached.

Allow for customised rules and messages to be applied on sending emails in alignment with company policy

As a user on work manager, I would like to see the error messages for any emails that are not successfully shared or attachments so that I can take the necessary actions in alignment with the company policy. This should be permitted only for the system admin to perform. The user should know for example the files size larger than the company policy permitted size.

Thanks Kamal - I suspect this is obvious from the context but just to confirm: this will be the total size including attachments?

Hi Simon Stannard,
We are planning to build a system-wide setting to set over email size (incl file/attachment). if the end-user writes an email that is more the configured system-wide setting then it will show the error message on the screen and ask the user to reduce the size of the email or inform builder admin to change the size.
Thanks
Kamal
