Auto-refresh case screen on launching adhoc actions in work manager

When a user initiates an ad hoc action, the case screen should automatically refresh to show the newly started action, similar to how the screen refreshes after clicking submit. Currently, the screen does not refresh on its own, so users have to manually refresh the case screen to see the new action. This often leads users to click the start action button multiple times, mistakenly launching the action more than once. To prevent this issue, the case screen should automatically update on clicking start action, ensuring that users see the action immediately and avoid multiple submissions.

Thank you for posting, Harsh Seksaria! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details on the frequency of this issue? Does it happen every time an ad hoc action is initiated or only under certain conditions?
- Are there specific ad hoc actions where this issue is more prevalent or does it occur across all actions?
- Can you share any specific instances where this issue has led to significant problems or errors in the workflow?

Hi Claudine Richardson,
- A particular client always launches adhoc actions in each and every case. Yes, user need to refresh case screen every time adhoc action is initiated.
- Occurs across all actions.
- Users trying to launch adhoc actions open the start action pane, fill in relevant details, and click on start. The pane goes away, but the action is not visible on case screen which gives an impression that the action has not been launched. So the user tries to do so again, which results in multiple actions being launched.
