Adding images to the Notes section (ticket)
L
Lionel D.
Our team is using the Notes section in order to update our team members with the latest news for each ticket.
In some cases, we would like to add screenshot to illustrate the current situation or to have a better understanding of the current status.
However, as of today it is only text that can be added to the Notes.
Thanks

It would be beneficial to be able to provide tabled data in the notes section.

Ability to add screenshots (as mentioned in Craig's comment below) is of interest to our users too

Great to hear your perspective, Lionel D.! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details on the types of images you would like to add? For example, are they screenshots, diagrams, or something else?
- How often do you anticipate needing to add images to the Notes section?
- Would you find it useful to have the ability to annotate or add comments to the images you upload?

- Any type/format of image would work. In our case, most of the pictures would be screenshots related to a specific ticket.
- Often. For many Notes that I edit, I wish I had a screenshot to explain the current status of the ticket.
- Sure, it could be useful as well.

To add to this, to enable users to pin a note to the top of the comms/timeline tabs

Improved Notes Functionality (Like HTML Emails+))

We would like to be able to do the following with notes:
- Add bullet points
- Screenshots
- Insert tables
- @mention other users to take a look at the ticket - Perhaps notification sent to their personal user email address with a snippet of the note and link to view the ticket details on Enate and a notification on Enate
- General font style / formatting options like you would in Outlook and in the Email section of Enate
- Enable the user who added the note, to edit the note post submission
Reasons:
This is to prevent staff from drafting emails in Word/Outlook and getting them checked by someone else. At the moment you can’t draft a final version of your email in a note on Enate.
Also increase the quality of internal communications within Enate…. As sometimes screenshots and other formatting options makes it a lot easier to understand.
