File related improvements
complete
D
Deepak
We are planning to improved file related capabilities on the platform to cater to a lot of use cases -
- full file card view for service users
- work item reference to the file card
- file size
- Default file type filled in the builder
- last 5 used file tags on top of the file tags search list
- download all files at the zip file
- add remote file hyperlink.
- better filters on the file card.
- send the file name to the warehouse for the report.
- add the same tags to multiple files
It'll be a while until we get to all things supported in the platform, but we'd love to know which one our users care about most.

Sally Tse
For an API integration, I would like to identify which Case/Action/Sub-Case (work item) the file belongs to when it has been the manually uploaded to the file card, so that the specific files can be used accordingly

Ability to select multiple documents and apply the same tag
S
Sally Tse
As a user using the file card, I would like the ability to select multiple documents and apply the same tag to the documents so that I do not need to apply a tag on each document when there are a large number of documents

In general settings under allowed file types we have "All" has been set as default but we need to have only the safe file types like .txt, .pfx, .xlsx to be default.

Download all attachments as zip file
T
Tijana Starcevic
As a user, I would like multiple attachments to be downloaded as zip files (from the file's card in the side panel) so that I don't need to choose folder to save files individually for every single file. Option to save automatically in default location is also inconvenient.

Links in file section

Yathish Krishnamurthy
As a agent, I should be able to input a url of my file instead of adding the actual file to work item. URL should be shown as an hyperlink to end users, URL could be share-point link, google drive link or even a internal network file location path.
This allows the users to navigate to file location instead of downloading the file locally.
